I am proud to earn the support of Protect Perryman Peninsula. The fight to preserve the rural and small-town heritage of our community and maintain our quality of life is one that touches every corner of Harford County. From the Perryman Peninsula, to Abingdon Woods, to Downtown Bel Air, we deserve leaders who will fight to prevent overdevelopment that strains our infrastructure, paves over our natural resources, and destroys the character of our neighborhoods. I am proud of my work as Bel Air Town Commissioner to preserve open and green space, block high-density apartments, and promote sustainable economic growth that encourages homeownership and community vitality.
Above all, resident concerns and input must be placed at the center of development decisions. As State Delegate, I will fight to ensure that development decisions remain at the local level and in the hands of the community whose daily lives they affect. I will oppose any effort to pre-empt local control of high-density housing, high-intensity industrial uses, solar farms, data centers, and all other deleterious forms of overdevelopment forced upon us by Annapolis.
