The Harford County Council unanimously passed Bill 22-003 on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 that establishes a temporary moratorium on the approval of site plans and issuance of building permits for the construction of any new buildings within the boundaries of the Perryman Peninsula.

3P Protect Perryman Peninsula requested the Harford County Council to place a moratorium on freight distribution projects proposed amongst residential communities. As a result of this request, Councilman Beulah created Bill 22-003.

The Harford County Council unanimously passed Bill 22-003 on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 that imposes a moratorium on site plan approvals and the issuance of building permits for new building construction on Perryman Peninsula. The County Executive Barry Glassman vetoed the Bill on Monday, May 2, 2022 and the County Council failed to act to override the veto. Read more about the Great Perryman Bamboozle.
